Christmas Eve

We had a wonderful day today! The kids got up and around noon got to open some presents. We let them open gifts from extended family members on Christmas Eve. There is always to many presents on Christmas Day and we want them to appreciate all that they get. So by letting them open them a little at a time....we feel like they get to spend more individual time with all of their stuff. So they opened all their gifts from Grammy, Grandma, Grandpa, and all their aunts and uncles. They played with their new toys all day.

That night we went to the Boskus' house for a gathering. Kevin is good friends with their son Dhane and Kira is good friends with their daughter Lexi. They kids played together so well and had such a wonderful time. They ran around the house, watched Christmas movies, and made reindeer food to throw on the lawn later that night.

We had lots of seafood. I was in heaven....Rob not so much :) They had muscles, clams, shrimp, calamari, and lots of other good food.

We got home around 9pm, the kids sprinkled the reindeer food on the lawn, got cookies together for Santa, and went to bed. We had a fun jam packed day....with another one coming tomorrow!! Cant wait!
