Parks...Parks...Parks!

This week we spent three days in a row at the park! The weather was so nice it was hard to resist. It was in the high 60's low 70's all week!

Thursday we had our first Tiny Tots (Kevin's school) playdate. A few of the kids from Kevin's class got together for a little picnic at the park after school. It was fun to socialize and get to know the mom's better and see how the kids got along outside of school.

This month at Kevin's school is Animal Month. Each week the kids have the opportunity to bring in whatever the designated creature is in from home on the day of their class. This week was cat/dog week so we brought in Kissy. Kevin got to sit in the front of the class, with me while i held Kissy, and tell his friends all about our cat. He really thought he was special and this was so cute to see. Kissy was so well behaved too. She just sat on my lap, like a big Budha, and let all the kids pet her.

Kira has been  her usual spicy little self. She has developed some pretty cute dance moves over the last week. I still cant get over how much she keeps up with the big kids. She amazes me more everyday with her antics. Her favorite food for breakfast is hard boiled eggs. I swear I must go through a dozen a week. She refuses to eat the yolk though :)

Rob and I hired a babysitter this past Sat so we could go out with a group of friends for dinner and to a bar afterwards. We were all ready to go....and then deceided to bail on the group date and go out by ourselves. We ended up going to Long Horn Steak House (or something like that) and a movie. We saw Just Go With It which is the Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston movie....it was really good.

Who knows what's in store for the weekend. Rob is suppose to take Kevin to a fishing show to watch fish get weighed in but he woke up from his nap with a fever. So it will probably be a nice relaxing weekend....which Im perfectly happy with!

Having fun in the backyard!
