Kira has been in her big girl bed now for a week! What I thought would be a disaster ended up being great! Her furniture came last Monday 4/25 but she had to wait to sleep in it until the next night because thats when her bedding came. She was soooo excited to sleep in a "big girl" bed. I thought she would get out a bunch of times and never go to sleep etc. but she ever since the first night.....she has gone to bed and stayed in bed until we get her the next morning between 7am-8am. She has a computer that she plays with until she falls asleep and also in the morning when she gets up. She also gets out of bed, grabs some books or toys out of her closet and gets back in bed to read and play with them. She has been such a good girl. I did try to put her in her bed for her nap too but she just ended up fooling around and never going to sleep. I guess its a different story when its dark vs light. She gets into more trouble :) So she still sleeps in her crib for her nap. That way I get a little more time too!
