After tons of rain and lots of cancelled practices.....Kevin finally had his last soccer practice today. I was so proud of him because he actually paid attention and did very well. Usually Kevin stares off into space or runs off the field away from the ball. But today he was actually part of the whole experience. It's kinda sad because he is just now getting into it and the season is over. He is suppose to get a metal too. He always wears his soccer shirt around the house when he kicks the ball around. Kira has her own "soccer shirt" too which is just a blue shirt of Kevins. She has her own soccer ball that she calls her "soccer game" It's so cute! She cant wait to get out on the field and play with the big kids. I think she is going to be really good when she is old enough.
Today was also a crazy day because I ended up in the hospital. As I was sitting on the couch waiting to go to Drew and Sami's bday party while the kids were napping....I started to have a lot of contractions. I knew they were Braxton Hicks because they were painless but they were coming so often I got really nervous. I dedeided to go to the hospital to play it safe. Once they hooked me up to the monitors they realized my contractions were coming every 2-3 minutes which was scary to me....but it seemed like no big deal to them. I was there for a few hours being monitored and they ended up giving me two shots of a muscle relaxer to calm my contractions and sent me home. They didnt think the babies were in any danger and told me what to do if I continued to get lots of contractions.
We also took a trip to a new splash park on the Bentonville Square this week. It was fun but a little chilly so we didnt stay long. The kids had more fun playing in the mud and climbing the rock walls then playing in the water. Kevin also fell a couple times which got him upset and he wanted to leave. We'll try it again another time when its warmer and hopefully they will like it more.
