Ninny Free

I wanted to write about this earlier but I forgot! Kira has been ninny free for about a month now!! Yeah!! I wanted to wait until we got back from NJ and tell her we forgot them there....but I totally forgot. So that obviously didnt work. One day shortly after she was asking for her ninny around 12 noon. I told her no and that she had to wait until her nap. She threw a huge fit asking for it over and over again. I figured this would be a great time to get rid of it for good. So I told her there were no more ninnys and Santa took them to give to all the little babies that were crying and didnt have one. She obviously wasnt buying it and threw an even bigger fit. We put her down for her nap without it. Kira of course cried and carried on asking for her pacifier. She even took a shorter nap that day. Not sure if it was because she didnt have the pacifier or not. Night time was the same routine...crying and screaming for her ninny. This went on for a few days. It was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. She only really asked for it when she was tired and grumpy. As of today...she still does ask every once and a while....but its getting better and better. We conquered that battle and Im definetly glad its OVER!!
