Our Trip to the Jersey Shore

While we were in NJ....we of course had to visit our old stomping grounds. Since everyone wanted to meet teh twins and we couldnt all fit in one car....Grammy drove us down in her car and Rob drove the truck. Grammy then went to a craft show while we visited...lol.

First, we made a trip to Uncle Mike and Aunt Barbara's house. We spent a few hours there...ate lunch and just enjoyed each others company. The kids loved playing with Courtney and Noah....espec on the trampoline :) They really look up to their older cousins. Kevin is always asking how old they are and telling me that they are bigger than him!

After a few hours at Mike and Barbs....we were off to Grandma and Grampas house. We had a great time catching up and visiting. Kevin kept begging to go to the beack so we left the babies at the house and ventured to our old stomping grounds in Leonardo. It was so nice to see our old house (where it all began) and retrace our old walking path to the beach. Kevin and Kira didnt quite understand that it was to cold to go swimming. Kira asked if she could put his bathing suit on and I really think Kevin thought he would be able to swim too. The beach was FREEZING! But even so the kids had a blast. They were throwing shells and sticks in the water and chasing seagulls. I think they could and would have stayed there all day! Being there was my favorite part of the trip....I miss the beach!
