Fun in the Backyard

It's still pretty warm here in good old Arkansas so we've been able to go outside and play a lot in the backyard. We dont make it to the park as much as we used to so Im glad to have some fun things to do at home. Kevin and Kira play so nice together sometimes and I love to watch!

Playdate at the Park

Here are some pictures from our playdate at the Peace Luthern Church playground. This fall our regular play group doesnt get to see each other as much because we are all on opposite schedules with school. All the kids were so happy to see each other. When Kira showed up (she was at MDO until 12pm) Sami and Faith both ran to hug her. She was equally excited! :) Wish we could all play more often.

Kevin's First Soccer Game of the Season

Rob, Kira, and I got to go to Kevin's first soccer game of the Fall 2011 season. Grandma was here so she stayed home with the babies. Kevin really isnt all that into playing. He fights with me about going and when we get there is more concerned with doing gymnastics all over the field than actually playing. His coach this year is Jack Ford. He is a good coach and you can tell he is dedicated to the game. He also has triplets which I think is neat! His two boys play on the team also. I think we will skip soccer in the spring and try t-ball instead.

Big Boy Tub

Today we put the babies in the big tub for the first time. They got to sit in their little chairs and relax in the warm water. These boys never cry during bath time....they love it! :)

Crazy Kira

Kira has had some majorly chapped lips lately so we have been putting the medicated Blistex on them. She was all proud of her self the other day and came running out of her room saying "I did it...I did it...I put lipstick on my lips to make them feel better!" Well what she really did was put Drew's perscription diaper rash cream on them!! Here are some pictures....she is nuts :)

Grandma's Visit

Grandma has been here for a visit since September 7th. It has been really nice having her here. She has been getting up with the babies at night and my favorite....letting us sleep in :)

Kevin and Kira love having her here. She brought them some cool sea shells from the beach to paint. Kira had a ball doing that. Kevin and Kira both had lots of outside time when she was here. Kevin showed her his super soccer kick close to everyday...with the big bouncy balls.

Rob and I were suppose to go to our first Razorback football game and she was going to watch Kira and the babies. But it was rained out. Instead we went to Courtney and Jesse's house. We brought Kevin and Kira along. It was nice to finally not have to worry about Kira so much. I was able to sit and relax a little more this time without constantly getting up and checking on her.

Rob and I were able to go see Kevin's first soccer game and leave the babies home with Grandma too. We are so happy to have her here and I will be scared when she leaves. It will be the first time officially on my own.

Kevin, Kira, and I also got to go on a fun playdate to Will's house. He had a big inflatible that they really enjoyed bouncing on :) Dhane and Lexie were there too!
