Kira's First Day of School!

Today was Kira's first day of school. We have her in two different Mother's Day Out programs. She goes Monday and Wednesday from 9am-12pm at Get Set Preschool and Fridays 8:15am-12pm at Central United Methodist (the same place Kevin goes for preschool). She LOVES it!! At first I only signed her up to go on Fridays at CUM but deceided she needed more days. CUM didnt have any more openings until probably around January....so she goes the other two days across the street. Her teacher at Get Set Preschool is Ms. Cassie and she is awesome. Always has nice things to say about Kira. At CUM her teacher's name is Miss. Sarah. Both teachers say that Kira is a leader. Ms. Cassie always lets her be the teacher's helper. She finds that Kira gets less frustrated when you keep her busy and let her help.

Kira's friend Makenna is in her class at CUM which is loves. She is always talking about Makenna and how she loves to play with her. Whenever I drop Kira off at either school she never says goodbye to me.....just runs in so happy to be there. This makes me realize that I made the right decision on sending her three days. She is my independent little girl and I love her for that!
